Newsweek won’t kill trees after January 1, 2013, when it will become an iPad publication.
Print everywhere is in a death spiral, and the only question is how fast is any given magazine or newspaper spinning. Newsweek bravely says it will soldier on, digitally, so we’ll see.
The larger point is the death of print, and how it relates to your organization. Are you stuck in the Gutenberg world? For how much longer? Paper is costly, postage is ridiculous, and outbound messaging is sooooo 20th century. Time to adapt, the way finches did.
